                          ERROR - Cannot Borrow a License

                          ERROR

                          When attempting to borrow a license in Client License Settings you receive an error stating “No Borrowable Licenses Available.”  Example:

                           

                           

                          No Borrowable Licenses available

                          Licensing Client Settings 2022 R2

                          *This documented instance of this error occurred in this version but is not necessarily limited to this version.

                          Description/Cause

                          There is a server entry that is no longer valid, the old server had a license that did not support borrowing or the current license does not support borrowing.

                          *The cause(s) we identified in this documented instance may not be the only cause(s) for this error.

                          Solution

                          Remove the server entry that is no longer valid and save the configuration:

                          Warning

                          Be sure to launch Client License Settings as Administrator otherwise you will get an error when saving the configuration.
