ERROR - Request name disco_level1 does not exist in the licensing pool (-5,147)

ERROR

When launching SpaceClaim the following error occurs:

Request name disco_level1 does not exist in the licensing pool. 
No such feature exists.
Feature:   disco_level1
LicensePath:  1055@<LicesenManagerHostName>
FlexNet Licensing Error: -5,147

SpaceClaim 2023R1

*This documented instance of this error occurred in this version but is not necessarily limited to this version.

Description/Cause

The user was attempting to use a new version of Ansys than their installed license supported.

*The cause(s) we identified in this documented instance may not be the only cause(s) for this error.

Solution

  1. The latest license file has not been installed or you are not licensed to run the version you are attempting to. Follow this article - Verify your license is valid and not expired.
