The follow error occurs in the FlexNet Debug Log.
<HH:MM:SS> (ansyslmd) Request denied: Client: <Username>@<computername> (<computername>) (11.19) newer than Vendor Daemon (11.16). (Version of vendor daemon is too old. (-83,21049)

Description/Cause
The vendor daemon is one of the services that that License Manager relies on to work properly.
In this case, a user was opening Fluent 2024R1. While they had a valid license for Fluent 2024R1 installed on the license manager, the license manager was too old to support the checkout functionality for this version.
Solution
- Download and Install the latest version of the Ansys License Manager.
