ERROR

Explicit dynamics cannot use the distributed solver, even with 1 core. Only shared memory is possible. We have seen this issue on any version.

Solution

1. Keep Distributed checked and change the Cores to 1                                     
2. Go to File > Solve Process Settings > My Computer > Advanced
3.  Input  -machines <ip address>:<cores> in Additional Command Line Arguments
   1. Ex: the IP address of your computer is 10.10.10.100 and you want to use 16 cores, then input: -machines 10.10.10.100:16
4. Click OK to save the settings and then try solving again.
