                          ERROR - Unexpected license problem: exiting

                          ERROR

                          When opening a project in fluent, you receive the following error in the fluent console.

                          Connected License Server List:  <Shared_Web_License_Server>

                          Unexpected license problem; exiting.

                          Hit Return to exit.

                          Note: The following error occurred in the License Manager Debug log simultaneously.  ERROR - Version of vendor daemon is too old. (-83,21049) 

                          Software & Version

                          Fluent 2024R1

                          *This example was taken from this version but is not necessarily limited to this version.

                          Description/Cause

                          While the user had a valid license for Fluent 2024R1 installed on the license manager, the license manager was too old to support the checkout functionality for this version.

                          Due to the error message in the console, this may appear to be related to the Shared Web License Server functionality, however that was not the case in this situation. 

                          Solution

                          1. Download and Install the latest version of the Ansys License Manager on the computer that hosts it.
