Error
When attempting to access Shared Web Licensing, after signing into their Ansys account the user receives an error that their user is not recognized.

Error: User "<email address>" is not recognized and/or is not associated with any account Diagnostic: UserNotRecognizedError; Please verify that user "<email address>" is associated with at least one account in the ID Portal; Operation Id: <reference number>
Software & Version
Any Shared Web Licensing enabled product starting with 2023 R2.
Description/Cause
In order to utilize Shared Web Licensing, a user's Ansys account must be associated with the customer number in the Ansys ID Portal.
Solution
Follow the directions in HOW TO - Manage Users & Groups for Shared Web Licensing - SimuTech to verify the user is associated with your company's customer number, and add them if necessary.
